Deer Hunter Tournament is an Xbox 360 game that lets players hunt not just deer but also numerous different species of animal around a huge world. It tries to depict the best hunting experience in any console game.

Deer Hunter Tournament adds a flavor to the game by letting players participate in online tournaments. The game features a 1,000-acre land, which you will navigate. This really means a lot of walking, but luckily players will be able to travel faster by riding either an ATV or on horseback.

They both handle equally well in getting you across the map swiftly. They each have their own advantage like the ATV being faster than the horse, but can easily scare away animals if you drive too closely.

You’ll also have ample of weapons to choose from three main types of bow, shotgun and rifle where each type will offer newer arms as well as older models. You’ll also have plenty of helpful hunting items to choose from, such as thermal goggles, calls and baits. Hunting down animals requires you to follow laws similar in the real world.

An animal in the water cannot be shot or anything that wasn’t stated in your hunting ticket. Shooting your prey with a kill shot activates the bullet-time event where your prey will be hit in slow motion, ala Max Payne style. The tournament mode is something to look forward to. It features online tournaments with rankings, which allows players to compete on the same land. Overall, Deer Hunter Tournament is worthy to play.
